I had something similar happen to me about 10 years ago. Young girl delivering evening newspapers suddenly ran out in front of me about 3 yards ahead. I braked, came off and fell into the gutter, bike rolled into road . Luckily, no cars around. I gave her a right bollocking as well and pointed out the zebra crossing about 20 yards away. I had to put my chain back on too. As rode off, saw her run across road again. Potential candidate for Darwin Awards?.

Still, I would go for the contour HD. A bit pricey at about £200, but great quality videos in glorious HD.

It works,It's the power button,then the mode button with external supply fitted,I have an emergency charger with an 18650 battery and usb 5v out.Filmed all of the home commute although the camera was pointing up in the air so I got low flying aircraft.Dont think I want a contour,they look too lumpy to me.MUVI seems fine,the foreign imports have quite a decent picture.More testing,i've got quite a few imported ones.

go for the ContourROAM, you can pick one up for less than £140 on amazon and it is better quality than the contour HD (maybe not sound wise)

Sounds doesn't really concern me - I'd like decent video over good sound.

I'm waiting for when I've got some money to buy one, I'm actually surprised this thread is still going

Ive got a ContourHD unused new in box from last year not sure if I should change for the Roam?
