I'm glad that the police are talking to the registered keeper and you were correct to dismiss the criticism of the filtering in the video. It's a shame the police will not prosecute, but sadly that's par for the course for those kind of close shave overtakes.

What on earth possessed you to submit film of yourself riding on the pavement/breaking the law?! Conceivably, they could have gone after you...

Where in the embedded video does the incident occur?

You have to give them NOTHING they can pull you up on, you hit a pot hole and video bumps a bit "probably going too fast, not in full control" whistling as you ride "not paying full attention" etc etc etc.

They want to get rid of you as soon as possible and will use whatever excuse they can.

I must be a very defensive/wimpy cyclist because the video I watched looked like a lesson in how not to cycle in traffic although I have to admit, you made rapid progress.

1. you are going wrong way on the roundabout
2. you again going wrong way and cutting whole street like no problems
3. then you are riding thru stripes that you shouldnt be, look even a biker didnt do it.
maybe before you complain about others driving like d... you should start fixing your cycling habbits? I call for a hypocrite.

If you're going to call out a cyclist on breaking the law, it would be a good idea to actually familiarise yourself with the law first ...

The hatched area is bounded by broken lines, not solid ones, meaning 'Enter only if it is safe to do so.' Filtering down the hatched area was perfectly legal.
