It's nice looking but if not off roading you would be better off without shocks. They absorb too much of your energy.

its got suspension like a mb, tyres like a road bike

On roads however, I'd say the negative effect of the suspension on the road will outweigh the benefit of slicker tyres. How wide are the tyres?

I commuted with a mtb to start with and have now switched to a cyclocross, the difference is unbelievable. Mtb's are so much effort and not all that enjoyable on roads.
