Negative from the outset

Ok I follow a couple of dudes on twitter who post alot about how bad their cycling experience has been on the commute. They used to frequent this forum, I have nothing against them but I do get the feeling that they either have the worst commute route going or they are looking to have a moan at the slightest indiscretion. There are alot of saints and alot of sinners but do you not think as cycling commuters that this is typical, to focus on the negative all the time. TBH they can come over as right couple of bleedin moaning minnies and make me seem like a saint !

There's rarely anything thats worth moaning about on my commute, obviously there are the occasional incidents, but they are normally few and far between.

I've no idea who you are talking about, but there people are split into half full/half empty! The same incident can be viewed totally differently depending on who it happens to. I like to think I'm a half full person, yes I get the odd incident but mostly I have a quick moan and it's forgotten. There are only a handful than remain in my memory on a more prominent place.

I'm taking part in that Near Miss study this week, where you nominate a day then report any near misses, it will be interesting to see what the results of the survey will be. I meant to nominate a different day and didn't get around to it, and didn't have a single memorable incident that day.

helmet cam`s seem to bring the worst out in some IMO If you cycle as much as I do you or even if you drove the equivalent you would see more road incidents than anyone else, it just stands to reason but so what ??? Why post up youtube films all the time condemning every little indiscretion. In fact I stopped following them as it was utterly depressing lol .

+1. I get far more hassle driving than I do cycling.

Driving on UK roads is w_ank.
