Never seen a chain more in need of a Mickle

Yup, sorry I try and avoid using 'in' phrases in my posts. 'Mickling' your chain is a process Mickle describes (loosely) as cleaning your chain with a degreaser then lubing it up.

Ooh, I've been degreasing with gt85 before re-lubing, having re-read the Mickle method I don't think I'll bother degreasing any more!

Well, I now stand corrected, I thought "mickling" was the same as "fettling"
Shows that I know nothing

However, fettling can also mean the adverse insofar as completely fecking something up!( probably the same in my case)
