Pro plt bars and stem, 15 year old Fizic Arionne saddle. Lezyne mini track pump. Old 10 litre Agu Yamaska racktop bag.
Haven't weighed this bike but it is very heavy, at first it seemed sluggish compared to my sons Canyon Endurace.
However, I built this bike as a potholeproof, rugged tourer.
On 3rd September 2021 my son and I set off from Lands End and arrived at John o Groats 12days later. The bike was supremely comfortable, handled very well even with 8 litre Ortlieb bar bag stuffed with gear as well as rear rack pack. Brakes were excellent, even in the wet.
Covered 2000 miles on this bike and apart from weight it's proven to be very comfortable and neutral handling.
