Hey that's great! Nice looking bike and congratulations. Always awesome to get something big shiny and new.

Idk how younuse your bike, but a good quality lock, maybe even two, is a wise investment.

Looks great but.... your Mum has crept out and hung a really ugly handbag on the top tube!

If you don''t throw it away the straps are going to fret and ruin the paintwork.

Well I have been out for a six mile ride and apart from having to tweak the fd the bike rode a treat, smooth gear changes, very rapid on the flat , quiet on good road surfaces which are far and few between around here. The ride position is perfect for me, I find I am just resting my hands on the bars rather than leaning into them so will make long distance rides very comfortable on the hands and wrists. the saddle is narrower than the saddles I have been used to but it seems to be "ok" after a shortish ride and time will tell as to whether it stays or goes.
Overall a great bike, I think we will spend many happy miles together. ^_^

Good, that's how it should be. Now wrap some vinyl tape around the seatpost to protect it from fretting by the saddle pack and its strap. Then once you've sorted the seat height another wrap of tape at clamp height so that you get it right every time you replace the seatpost in the frame.
