Seems like a good idea to get a new bike for spring. I'm currently training for LEJOG this winter, and having just the one pushbike means that this one is going to be getting a lot of use in this weather. To that end and to justify it to myself, I think that a new bike may well be in order. (I understand that I can strip and clean the bike - but humour me).
So what's about? I'm pretty sure what bits I want on the bike, but what bike?! I've had a little look, but Pro Carbon from Planet X seems to come up trumps, but I dislike the frame shape.
What I would like:
Carbon frame and fork.
SRAM Groupset (Rival at least), not shimano, not campagnolo.
'Sportive' geometry as it will be used for 100+ mile per day rides.
Oh... And around £1000 lol!
