Actually the new job doesn't pay any more than my current one but it's a training position so future earning potential is higher. So I could consider it as borrowing money from my future self. Nothing risky about that, surely?

I managed to clear all my debt (bar mortgage) by 38, 41 now and had a bit of an "glitch" last few years so back to bloody square one..

Just be careful!.
