Hoping to pick up the Defy 1 on Monday.
Can you knowledgable folks recommend a computer to log my road telemetry.

I would like ...
Speed
Average speed
Distance trip
Odometer
Clock (time)

As a minimum. Not sure if all provide this. The cheap one I bought from Halfords doesn't give me average speed, so that's staying on that bike and I fancy a posh ish one for the new bike. Price range £20-£50

THIS It's the easiest computer I've ever had in terms of set up. Fits nicely on the stem, clear display and colour coded covers are also available HERE

I've used the Cateye Strada, in wired Cadence, wireless, and double wireless forms. As much as I like it the screen is very small and as my eyes have worsened I found it too hard to read the display. I also found the computer rattled in the holder on each one regardless of which bikes it was fitted to.

Cateye Strada Wireless will give you all that. They're nice and compact and fairly easy to use. I have one on each of my bikes... although I am very much tempted by one of these fancy gps gismos that seem to be all the rage.

I have the Cateye wireless thing and it's great. The batteries seem to go on forever and as I don't have a watch it's a handy makeshift one! I think you can get them for £20 but this site has'em for a little more.

It's worth spending a little extra on these- I once bought a really cheap one and when I got it home I found it only did kilometers. Had to take the feckin' thing back!

I've got a bontrager 4W. 25 quid or so, wireless, does all the things you ask for as well as custom wheel sizes (and you can set 2 so you can have 2 bikes set up on it and just move the computer from one to the other).

Great little computer.

Ciclosport 4.1 is the best non gps cycle computer I have ever used.
Bonus is, is that it has 3 lines of information and is wireless.
