Those wheels looks pretty damn rad, if you'll excuse my turn of phrase.

Mind if I proffer some questions?

1. How much did they cost?
2. What's the weight difference like compared to the previous wheels?
3. What's the braking surface like?

Be sure to update this thread in a few months once you've ridden them in for a while and let us know how they've held up!

Yes well i got them from Carbonzone on ebay after seeing a thread about them on here, i was previously going to go for Ksyriums. They are 38mm.

He sells tubs on ebay but can do clinchers at request. I had them built up with a red hub and red spoke nipples. Price was $480 and then $55 shipping which worked out at £337.89. Building and delivery took just under 10 days.

Im very impressed by these wheels, very stiff and light weight compared to the wheels which i had on my Bianchi. Ive done around 500 miles on them so far and they are still true.

They are very light weight, the front comes in at 646g before tyre, tube or skewer and the rear comes in at 832g before cassette, tyre, tube or skewer. The supplied skewers weighed it at 105g for the st, ive since got Planet X titanium skewers. As far as i know they are a 300g saving on the pro-lite wheels supplied on the Vitus.

The braking surface is a laminate strip, i changed the pads on my Bianchi to swisstop yellows as i had read good reviews about them, im currently using the standard pads on the rival brakes and they are giving very good stopping power.

They are noticeably stiffer which helps with climbing, i have noticed that it is much easier to hold speed of 25mph+ once up to speed. The novatech hubs seem of very good quality and seem as though they would spin forever.
