Don't put your eggs in one basket. There are lots of opportunities ie markets, carboots, selling on line etc. If you watch programmes like Bargain Hunt and Antiques Road Trip towns there are loads of antiques shops where people are making a living. Also there is a shortage of people with good practical and craft sjilss on a whole range of sectors such the horticultural sector, building restoration, drystone walling, hedge laying etc. If you have an outgoiny personality then become a demonstrator. If you go around the show circuit there is a whole range of opportunities. Consider going on the festival circuit. There is lots of vacancies for putting up marquees, running stalls, catering, security and so on and you get to be at a show free of charge and making an income at the same time. I think markets are a good way into business and a stall can be less than £10 A DAY.
