A quick question if I may before I confuse myself even more. I currently have a Spesh Roubaix SL2 with a Shimano FC-R600 crankset and integrated BB. With all the sales out there I am potentially looking to snap up a bargain and upgrade both the crankset and BB but I am getting thoroughly confused by all the types of BB out there. Am I right in thinking that all BBs will fit into the frame and that the compatibility issues are between the crankset and the BB only? If that is the case then it becomes merely a process of buying a new crankset and BB together and fitting them or do I have to worry about whether they will fit my frame? I am after a compact if that makes any difference.
