I was riding solo from Colwyn Bay to Llanfaifechan this morning ( as usual) when I met this fellow cylist who was riding home to Pen. I think he was in his 50's and we had a good chat until he got home in Pen and I carried on. I mentioned this forum to him and hope he will join it.
So if you are reading this, I might ride with you again one day as your pace was similar to mine.

How do you get from Colwyn Bay to Llanfair? Do you go through the tunnels on the A55? Is that one of the sections where cyclists are permitted to go on it?
BTW I would be happy to meet up with you some time and go for a ride either along the coast or around the Great Orme.

Llan-vair-ve-chan, but the ch must be pronounced like you are trying to get some mucus up and the ll is pronounced like you are hissing at a cat but through your teeth.

Okay then, I love a good challenge.

Llan-vair-pwll-gwin-gill-gog-erych-wun-drobuwll-llantisilio-go-go-goch.

Once again pronounce all the ll's as though you are hissing at a cat through your teeth and pronounce all the ch's as though you are getting mucus up.

You dont go through any tunnels but round the.mountain on a cycle path. Sorry for the late reply. Would love to ride with you but bear in mind i am at least 40 years older than you.
