England : West Midlands New cycling club for S Birmingham, Worcestershire & Warwickshire

The NEW Heart of England Cycling Club launches on 1 September 2015 - as a club affiliated to CTC - see the NEWS link on the website (see below) for some background about the formation of the new club.

All the details are at www.heartofenglandcyclingclub.org.uk : how to join, a members' forum and the comprehensive range of cycle rides - do browse the website.

Initially the website is deliberately very simple and functional whilst we complete the transition to the new club - we'll be adding photographs etc in due course - the objective being to support and promote what is going to be a vibrant and sustainable cycling club.

Wasn't it the OLD Heart of England Cycling Club which organised the Cotswold Challenge? If so, what happened to it?

Ah - aim before you fire!! Yep - the Audax rides will continue under the new club - dates already set for May 2016 - and we're planning an additional major event too . . . more on that soon..

At the SGM on Monday 7 September 2015 the proposal to dissolve CTC Heart of England was approved - 20 votes for, 0 against.

The new club, affiliated to CTC, has been launched and membership is open at www.heartofenglandcyclingclub.org.uk
