....even the arch enemy the Daleks couldn't conjour up any menace or angst. Very poor. Like people from ********* lol.

That's a bit harsh I think. I recently raided my brother's collection for some Tom Baker era stories and while I accept that there are some really bad ones, there are also ones like "City of Death", The Talons of Weng Chiang", "The Stones of Blood" and "Genesis of the Daleks" which still stand up to scrutiny.I'm sorry, but I think your memory’s playing tricks on you. I think you need to all sit down and watch a whole episode of any of the older series and you will see that the old Doctor Who were truly truly dreadful, plot holes you could hid planets in. Wobbly sets even more wobbly scripts.
4 stories out of 41.(170 odd programmes) That is you will have to admit Bad I mean really bad. That's a bit harsh I think. I watched it with the kids last night. I found it very confusing. Did that Dalek girl die at the end or what?
Yes, but there was talk that she would be his next assistant. They managed to teleport out though.
