I liked it. Just entertainment. The Daleks weren't that menacing this time though.
The mistake they're making is having each episode a one off. In the old series each one was usually a four parter, each about 25 minutes long. The episodes now are 50 minutes, equivalent to two 25 minutes episodes in old money so the story line's not as good.
Yes I know, and those 2 parters seem to be better IMO, but there's not many of them. They do sometimes have 2 parters, which would match the old 4 parters, iyswim.
My favourite Doctor/Dalek episode is still the Christopher Ecclestone one (first one where he sees a Dalek under the Millenium Stadium). The sense of naked fear when he saw it was really threatening. Since then, I've never got the feeling that the Doctor has ever been that frightened, merely spoiling for a good fight.
Well, I quite liked it.
SPOILER
The ending did remind me of the one of the Cybermen ones, where they had the emotion inhibitor devices switched off and could see what they had been turned into. The Dalek screaming 'I am not a Dalek' was somewhat sad. I didn't quite see that coming...
Well written overall, I thought.
Heh-heh.I thought it was about time that the true "Doctor" had a say!
And from your position as the original "Doctor"; who do you consider to be the best impersonator, Ecclestone, Tennant, Baker, et all.
I know!!! And since when would the Daleks ever have a "parliament"? Aren't they supposed to be evil totalitarian genocidal bastards? When did they decide to get all democratic?!?I thought "the Predator" was a bit much!![]()

I still think he would look good with a scar across his forehead and a bolt though his neck.Doctor Who Matt Wossname looks like a woman I know.
