New Forest - Leaden Hall

Hi,

Has anyone cycled up to the old bomb range target at Leaden Hall from Studley Head? I'm taking my 4 and 6 years olds off-roading tomorrow and am looking for somewhere really flat. It looks ideal on the map but I'm interestedto hear any first hand experience.
