Hi

I'm trying to find a solid fork for my frankenstein hybrid I've built. I'm running the original sussy forks, locked out, with MTB 26" wheels with 1.125" tyres

I've been looking for months for a fork which is reasonably lightweight, with IS mounts for my front caliper. I've looked at jump-bars and the like, but they seem heavy (which I guess they'd need to be) so ideally a road fork is what I'm after for its lightweight characteristics and the slight drop in bar-height will make the frame more aggressive for road use. Carbon would be nice but I suspect it would be too pricey. <£70 is where I'm hoping to find something, can anyone help?
TIA! B

You might want to read this, since changing a fork can have significant effects on handling.

The vast majority of suspension forks weigh over 2kgs, so I don't think you are going to have too much difficulty in finding a pair of rigid forks that can save some weight.

One of the most comprehensive supplier of rigid forks is this.
