New Grizedale Black Route

Although not much of a mountain biker myself, this caught my eye. As far as I'm aware serious mountain bikers prefer the natural trails round Grizedale as they find the waymarked trails too tame. Well, I am about to head up to the lakes and will be within easy reach of Grizedale , however I've never done a "black" route before and as it's the knockabout bike that I'm taking this time I'm not sure how much of it would be left by the end.

im a serious mtber and love trails both organic and waymarked with techy bits. It's all good riding. Take too much of a stance and you miss some awesome riding experiences.​
