New LBS is about to open within walking distance on my house

This one will cause problems at home. A closed down shop at the end of the road I live on is about to open as a bike shop. I saw a specialized van outside on my way home from work today. The question is do I but a carbon fibre road and/or TT bike now or wait a bit before bankrupting myself?

A Saturday job would be nice but I don't think her indoors would approve. I cycle past on my commute and on every recreational/training ride but it won't be open the kind of times I go riding. It might be best not to go in at all unless I actually need something. It'll be hard buying a reversible seatpost and TT saddle after christmas for my bottom of the range road bike when I'll be going past a shop every day which will most likely sell TT bikes. I always fancied a cyclocross bike too as a winter training bike, commuter and for some gentle off roading...
