New Mounts from Ortlieb for Accessories - Handlebar Bag Mount

Ortlieb have come out with an accessory mount which is attached to mounts on the Ultimate 6 Handlebar Bag mount. I guess another option for mounting lights and/or computers when using a handlebar bag. I know that in my case with the Surly Long Haul Trucker and my Ultimate 5 handlebar bag my options mounting extra lights is limited.

I just wish the Ortleib bar was easier to put on and take off - that wire thing is so unpractical.

Another option is the Rixen and Paul KLICKFix handlebar adapter. They also do a variant that includes an accessory mount. I use one of their adapters on one of my bikes and it has a better mounting system than the Ortlieb wire approach.

I use Klikfix for my Ortleib bar bag. The Ortleib wire setup was a PIA. The Klickfix I use is just 4 screws.

The ortlieb bags are good, but i agree, those wire attachments are a pain. Not least because they are tricky to shift slightly when you need to undo the screw slightly to loosen drop handlebars to turn them downwards when preparing the bike at an airport, for a flight.
