new sandwich discovered

I (think) I invented a new one yesterday. 2 slices of toast. Melted cheese on one. Fried egg with some black pepper on top, 2nd slice added. Yum yums.

Please don't serve that to me

Anyone mentioned cornflake sandwiches yet? We used to make them when we'd run out of crisps as a filling..

Anyone mentioned cornflake sandwiches yet? We used to make them when we'd run out of crisps as a filling. Marmite and cos lettuce sandwiches are good too, as are marmite and peanut butter toasties (no butter or marge needed).

As is Marmite and celery in a sandwich.

Not quite a sandwich but a well buttered Weetabix was a favourite too.

Marmite and cucumber is also nice. My mum used to make toast soldiers spread with Marmite and cucumber slices. I like a sandwich with one bread slice toasted and the other not.

With some help from our 4 year old granddaughter i discovered lemon curd and banana slices all within a 2 slices of toasted bread

Your granddaughter sounds like a young lady with remarkably good taste. She’ll go far.
