You must have had more than enough Thyme on your hands.

Mmmm - asparagus and the 1st British new potatoes of the year.
You can't beat it.
The purple sprouting brocolli and beetroot looks especially nice.
Was it a farmers' market?
Cor! That looks good enough to eat. Is that a crusty loaf in the top right?
Just my local greengrocer. Actually the new pots are Italian! They did have jersey royals but for silly money. Lots of the stuff is local though. I had a mountain of PSB for dinner.
Let's not be hasty, eh?That's it, I'm moving to Swansea.......

BTW, the Food Prog. on Radio 4 recently talked about how much fresher a lot of greengrocers' produce is compared with supermarkets due to the much shorter supply chain.
[counts money for Severn bridge toll............]Quite so. The watercress is especially good. Supermarket watercress is verging on the pointless. Today's brunch is an omelette sarnie.

Call me picky, but isn't the true PSB season rather more wintry than springy?
