I often ask this question and folk often say The Railway Children... but she did wave her knickers at a train, then faint from the excitement, so that's near enough is my reply... then folk wonder away, leaving me all on my own again

The new Star Wars trailers available to watch, what do you guys think?
I was obsessed with it as a kid so have high hopes, JJ Abrams did a fantastic job with the re-boot of the Star Trek franchise I hope he does the same with Star Wars!

Speaking..ahem..... as an old fart who saw the original back in '78, I can't see what they can do with it now. The first trilogy, eps 4-6 were about the fall of an empire and eps 1-3 about it's rise. Are they going to focus on the rise of another evil empire?. If so, then it's just repeating itself. The original cast are long in the tooth now, so what's the betting it'll be about their offspring?. That'll be nice for Disney who doubtless want to squeeze more mileage out of it - lots of sequels about Skywalker junior?.

X-wings over the lake and vapour trailer on the millennium falcon have convinced me to suspend disbelief and postpone disappointment.

What what do I know? I actually liked the three new films that got made.

You watch Star Wars, then Empire Strikes back. You don't bother with Phantom Menace at all, then Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith and end with Return of the Jedi. That way there are no spoilers, and the initial premise of Return of the Jedi has a lot more tension to it (Has Luke followed Anakin's path after all).
