A double edged sword I find. Only good when in the hands of people who can drive them in a straight line, and who don't come to a sudden halt in the middle of the way (IE, tops and bottoms of stairs and escalators, or train doors) in order to switch from trolley handle to lifting handle. Also, it encourages people to pack suitcases heavier than they can lift, also a problem when trying to get off a train.

Modern thing that amazes me:
A phone app that you can point your phone at the sky, and it tells you what all the stars are. Magic.
