Hello Im Mikey

I am looking into getting a road bike in the coming months, the main reason being I am a keen runner and want to enter duathlon`s.

I have around £700-800 to spend which needs to cover the price of a Bike/Shoes/Pedals

The bike I like the look of is a 2012 Cube Peloton, but have no idea if this is a good bike.

Just need some advice, help

Cheers Mikey

It's very difficult to buy a bad bike these days and CUBE certainly aren't bad. The main thing is it fits you correctly so if in doubt, budget in a bike fit also.

You might also want to budget in a trisuit for duathlons? I dunno

To be honest at that price range (and sticking to the well known brands) you are not going to buying a bad bike. The cube's have caught my eye as well (mind you everything (to do with bikes) does at the moment)

Fit is key though so buy based on what bike fits you the best within your budget range, even if you had quadruple the budget if you ended up buying a badly fitting bike it will be a bad bike.

Get along to a LBS and try a few out and good luck

I know a couple of guys here that do tri's and they have Cube Peloton's. Can't say enough good things about them.
