I can see them, now they've been pointed out.
I asked Hubster if he could see them. Just in case someone has been slipping something in my cocoa since I was about 10

My Dad told me that there was a soldier hitching a ride on the back of a fiver. My sis and I pored over one for ages and ages but couldn't see him. Dad insisted that the soldier was there, with his thumb out. We kept looking and then gave up and asked Dad where he was. He replied "bugger me, he must have got a lift"

Well managed to barter my way into bringing my new toy home today and gave the tyres some air as they had about 20psi (that's how long it's been in the guy's room) I feel the shifting might take some practice but feel nice and smooth! Test ride tomorrow into town for a Christmas present after I've seen Star Wars with my other half! Will update with more soon

The "new" one pound note had Issac Newton's Toblerone on it.

Wandered a tad off topic! :P
I've been sorting the bike and now have a lovely set of 28c armadillo all conditions tyres on and did a bit of DIY trialing as the 28c tyres have left very little room for mud guards ><
I did yesterday have a go on a Sunday shift at making a home made "ass saver" via a online template and laminating it

Yet to try the results out to see how good it is and trialing the crudz roadrace2 front guard on at the same time!

Having the handlebars that high is one thing, but having the saddle that low says to me that the bike is either way too big for you, or you should raise it by several inches! Surely when you pedal, your knees are permanently bent and you are almost kneeing yourself in the chest? (Slight exaggeration, but that position just looks VERY wrong.)

i suggest that you get somebody to take a photo from the side of you pedalling the bike and post it below for us to take a look at.

No it eventually went very rusty from the sweat and the leaky shed it was kept in and started to fall apart, I must have used it for over ten years.
Ha ha - I had one and (a) Yes, it was incredibly noisy when I was giving it some big efforts, and (b) I rotted it with sweat too!

That photo was taken before I set it up to my spec and the seat sits at least 4inches higher

....and apostrophes and plurals by the look of it.
And also dyslexia ;)
