I'd have thought that with the pursuit, Time Trail, Sprint, Elimination, Omnium, Scratch and Points races, not to mention the Kieren and Madison, that track cycling would have enough races, and that's not including the local club favourites.
Recently we've seen the introduction of the Marymoor Crawl (or Revolution longest lap). However there is a new one on the cards.
The race is competed in pairs, with whip change-overs every lap or so. Only in this race, you don't necessarily finish with the same partner that you started with. If you see someone who is stronger than your partner, if they agree, you can swap over and pair up with them instead.
Its called the Ashley Madison race.
