New tyre help

Iv had a reocurring puncture but cant find culprit in the tyre so bought a replacement. But im having trouble getting it to fit evenly all the way round! Iv tried numerous times but cant get it to seat evenly! Help appreciated

Inflate the tyre fully and it should seat itself..

I'm no expert but went to pedal revolution , then watched a YouTube video , as you know everything is on there.
But done mine , removed old one , then checked tube never had item to puncture , fittted one side then put little air in tube , and do other side using these little plastic things to flip tyre into rim .. make sure if have direction arrow depending on brand I suppose .. last bit the tyre is real tight but should flick on , then pinch it and check the tube isn't nipped by the tyre and inflate ..
Like I say YouTube has really helpful stuff on there ..

Iv watched numerous videos removed ,put back on and still no luck! Part of tyre grey band showing put some it isnt showing! Pumping up.made no difference

During my last tyre change I 'lost' the valve locking ring.

Turned out it had wedged itself under the bead of the tyre.

It took me an hour or so to work out why the tyre wouldn't seat evenly on the rim.
