Dial faces can easily be swapped-forgotten that bit.

Allegedly and I've seen videos. The small Japanese console has been jailbroken to display any language. Early days, sounds possible

If its anything like the VW or Volvo world the online clubs will be heaving with enthusiasts with all the hookey dealer computer clones who can sort that for you for a few shekels.

What colour is it?

Black.

I preferred two tone, blue/black or red/black. These are rare in availability, so would have had to wait possibly a long time and pay a bit more.

The trader said I got a very very good price for the vehicle, equal to what 3 door versions were selling just last month. I cant complain on that point. Im looking around 30-35%% discount over anything I've seen available in the UK.

Haven’t seen it yet. I only bump into him in the pub occasionally, but his mates were having a laugh about it last week. I have seen one on the road and they are impressive looking cars.

I did look at a commercial one before buying the van. Ideal for the dogs, cheaper road tax, but still thirty odd large for a low mileage used one.

I know he paid a lot for his but it was less than a year old. He sold his old 12 year old LandCruiser to a traveller who came over from Ireland to pick it up and paid cash in hand.

My vehicle is now in a bonded yard at the docks awaiting shipment.

I watched Matt from CarWow latest venture with his importing of the Suzuki Jimny. He's realised that the 3 doors aren't as popular as the newer 5 door. So has decided to import 5 of them.

There are literally hundreds of Jimny's and Nomades being imported privately or from small bespoke traders.

Problems with IVA bookings dates and DVLA registrations are cropping up regularly.

Might be mid spring or later before mine is on the road!

Saw one last week (pretty sure I did anyway) around Pboro. I like the looks, very boxy but that's ok. If they maintain the fun factor they had in earlier models, they'll be great. (Hired the oldest, rattliest jalopy in Crete once, dog of a thing, but great fun nevertheless)

Wait, they're pulling a Suzuki?.... For emissions quotas? What a world we live in!

All manufacturers now have emissions quotas to meet. Which are basically the percentage of their cars they sell in this country which are electric - for 2025 that was 25%, by 2030 it will be 80%.

It is Suzuki pulling that model in order to meet their quota. It isn't about the emissions level of any particular vehicle.

It was an odd quirky, didnt meet the passenger car requirements for Euro 6, but the commercial did. Or something. Either way it was pulled from the market a yesr or so back for an emissions related reason.

Thats right they pulled the 2 door passenger Jimny, took out the rear seats and placed a mesh panel in, carried on selling them.

The 2 door jimny is fine if you never ever want to take 3 people.

The 5 door is far more practical, decent load space and seats for 5 people, whilst being only 300mm longer, weighs 90kg more than the 3 door.

Prices are extremely strong if you buy from UK.... £35k upwards.

I didn't pay anything like that

But now knowing more about the whole process I can understand why they are commanding north of £30k to import
