Yuh never know - you may just get to like them. give them time. ie - i've got deep section rimmed wheels & use them to give me a hard time + they're better on the flat.

When my bike got stolen, I got the newer model which took a little bit of time to get used to. I really like it now so maybe just give it some time.

Well, on one hand they look fine - you're lucky to have such a fine bike.

On the other hand, did you not look at them first before buying? And, black rims always look better than silver - why there is a recent trend for silver rims I just don't know - I'm sure it will not last long!

To consider selling a brand new set of quality wheels like these (at a loss) because you're not sure about how they look means you probably got a case of OCD/perfectionism.
