Thanks for the advice. I was looking at the ultegra wheels. Does anyone have any experience with these and are they a good upgrade from the basic axis wheels I have?
Cheers

I have the Ultegra wheels. Seem decent enough. Apparently 300g lighter than my old ones. Not sure I can really feel much of a difference though, maybe I should put the old ones back on again to see if I can notice it more going the other way.

I personally feel people big up new/lighter wheels to justify to themselves the outlay.

I'm in the process of deciding on a new bike at the moment. Still undecided on wheelset even though I pretty much convinced myself there will be not much difference between whatever I decide. I guess it's just the way we cyclists think!

These guys do some reasonably priced lightweight semi aero wheels, highly regarded in MTB circles. I went for the elite 30 ultra and have no complaints.
