New wheels

Hi

I recently posted a thread about my freewheel making a noise. Well I took it back to Evans who said they'd replace the freewheel hub for me but now they can't get the part. They now want to replace the fulcrum racing sport wheels with mavic Aksium elite. Would you go for this? I did like the fulcrum and haven't used Mavic before.

I have an old pair of Mavic Cosmos - they are over 10 years old, solid and still going strong as my winter wheels.

The Mavic's are worth more according to the interweb and are lighter. Winner winner chicken dinner. I'd be snapping their hands off before they change their minds.

Just to update for anyone else with the same quandary. The Mavic Askium Elites they have put on are noticeably better than the fulcrum racing sports. They roll much more smoothly. The only criticism I have is that the pawls are louder on the Mavics, but this is just me being pedantic
