New wheelset for 2016 Giant Defy Advanced Pro 2

Hello,

My bike came with Giant SL1 30mm alloy wheelset. I would like to upgrade to either the Giant SLR 1 36mm or 42mm Disc or the Zipp 303s which are 45mm... I do mostly long endurance rides in Texas; with either set its a weight gain over the stock system. I also want to run 25mm Conti GP 5000 S TR. Any suggestions?

I run giant slr1 wheels on my TCR which came as stock and there ok with me . I currently running Pirelli race 26mm tyres on them which are nice and quick rolling . I presume your original wheels are not as deep sections so the one thing you will notice will be crosswinds which take a bit of getting used to but 45/50mm are not too bad in all but really strong winds
