Good for you!Like many here I couldn't run a mile this time last year. I was running 5k by summer, and did a 10k in September.
This year's goals include an 18k (shortest distance in the Ecotrail Oslo event) in May, and a mountain half-marathon under the Telemarks Toughest event in September. God willing.
Oh yes.. and a sprint triathlon (which I've mentioned on CC earlier, and before I found out that I couldn't run or swim the required distances!).
I did my first sprint nine months after taking up running. That was two and a half years ago.
My goals are;
February
Tunbridge Half Marathon, anywhere under two hours.
June
Ironman 80.3 Staffordshire, finishing would be great
July
Ironman UK, finishing would be great, any hour I can save under sixteen would be a blessing!
