Former Exeter lad here, used to cycle to Dawlish and the Warren on our gas-pipe 3 speeds as kids, ace fun. Balls momument is part of my family history as is Powderham .... lost in a card game! C'est la vie.
As you say, lumpy, but lovely cycling and a great part of the world. Happy daze ....
