Newbie struggling!!

Im trying to remove a bottom bracket but im struggling to see how it comes out!

I've attached a pic of the offending article!

Any help greatly appreciated

Couldn't figure it out lol, but thanks for the help. I'm making 1 good bike out of 2 for swmbo to use, she had an old emmelle and I had a 2 year old ridgeback so transferring everything from the ridgeback to the emmelle

You may find this one better.
Non drive side first! If only servicing, definitely not worth taking off drive side fixed cup.

I am going out on my bike soon so I don't have time to watch that video now, but a note for those who do not know - some bottom brackets have reversed threads on the righthand side of the bike, and some do not - take a look at the bottom bracket entry HERE.

If it does become completely jammed, smack the spindle, hard, with a hammer. Then chisel the stuck cup out of the frame.

Bottom bracket came out fine

Just waiting for swmbo to come back with a large adjustable spanner so I can take the other side off

And then use the big nut and bolt method described by the Sainted Sheldon.

Aaarrrggghhhh gave up on it yesterday as I couldn't get the drive side cup off, managed it today though and fitted the replacement bb fine

Now need to split the chains, which seems easy enough if the cheap blummin halfrauds tool didn't break as soon as I started!!!!

But I will get there and make the bike good by the end of today
