Have recently moved to newton le willows and wondered if anyone knows of any good cycling routes in this area can't seem to find any climbs it's that flat reminds me of Holland thanks in advance

approx 15 miles away you have parbold hill ,or ashurst beacon, a bit further into madesley you have hunters hill, and of course you could have a ride to rivington.

Probably closest decent hill is Beacon Hill, head north towards Skelmersdale/Up Holland

Ashton in makerfield ,Horwich .Rivington... Belmont, Tockholes ..

Rivington, (in particular Sheephouse Lane into Belmont Road/Rivington Road), and Hunters Hill both feature on the IMUK bike route.

You could easily do the IMUK bike route from N le W.

It starts at PENNINGTON FLASH at Leigh, so that's only down the road, over the East Lancs and through Lowton from where you are
