Hi
I am heading off with 6 of my cycling chums (the regulars on road bikes and the others on their various hybrids) this weekend to cycle north from our base in Newtonmore up to Aviemore and beyond and then back to base on Saturday - probably around 70 miles or so in total.
Sunday - plan is to drive south to Pitlochry and tackle the first and last parts of the Etape Caledonia route ( taking it easy after beer and stodgy grub on Saturday night!) before heading home to Glasgow.
If you are out for a spin and come across us, give us a shout !
Next weekend is a little tougher - two of us (draw your own conclusions!!) are tackling the 100 mile Sportive version of the Pedal for Scotland Glasgow to Edinburgh route - my first 100 miler !!
