It's your fault the thread title now takes 10 minutes to read ! (slight exaggeration)

Longest possible thread length I'll have you know!

They are still popular at adventure parks though? They would be a very good form of transport if people were sensible enough to use them properly, which most aren't. We did a 2 hour trip on them in Exeter a few years ago, and the guide/instructor said that he uses his to commute to and from work...on the road :stop:

Ah, ok. I must admit, I'd have liked one, but heard that they have stopped making them or something?

In our world ....

Kirk Precision , magnesium bike frames

Solid tyres, (Tannus), although, this could still be a thing of the future, if they can get it right

The "Copenhagen Wheel", to convert any bike to an ebike. Other conversion kits will probably follow this fate.

Zoom. I know it's still fairly popular, but at the start of Covid it was all anyone talked about, and became one of those words that was used to describe a generic term but was really a brand name. A bit like calling all vacuum cleaners "Hoovers". But now we have MS Teams and Google Meet. In my NHS, Teams is the default, and in my smaller off-shoot of the NHS, Meet is mandatory
