It looks interesting but if it lasts 3-4 times longer than conventional sprays and I can get conventional sprays for £2ish and it's £20 for the same size the maths don't add up. IMO it's got to perform significantly better to be worth it.

I tend to stock up on Outdoor Adventure spray when it's been on special buy at Aldi so have used it a lot. It can't perform miracles - it doesn't make a regular jersey waterproof but it does mean a lot of water beads off so takes much longer to 'wet out'. Also on GCN they talked about using it on shoes but I have had more success using ceramic coating than waterproof spray - and again you can get car ceramic coatings (unbranded) for way less.
