I am after a nice pannier. Something different from black! I have seen nice ones on Basil, but does anyone have any other recommendations of any different brands?

if you can afford it, Ortleibs are the best, red and yellow and some other fancy colours in some models

You cannot go wrong with Orleib if you are willing to shell out the initial cost.

I've used mine daily for 4 years now.

I've got bright orange ortliebs, or bright red trailer bag. As you can tell I agree on the dull black

I've got yellow Ortliebs - brilliant.

I've got red Ortliebs, on a red bike; trouble is Mrs iacula says aI look like a postman! The wive's such a "wind up", Ortliebs are brill though.
