Nice new BB...super-smooth...mmmmm

With many thanks to Record Ace - finally got to go out for my first proper ride since fitting my new BB, which proved beyond a doubt that it was indeed the old BB that was causing the clunking. Nice to be super-smooth again! 

(None too impressed with the old BB, in passing - only got about 2000 miles out of it. Ok, it has to work hard, being on a fixie, with daily hills, but even so...I'm led to believe that Shimano UN54 will give me sterling service, so I look forward to that.)

Something I'm looking forward to. The BB in my Touche is clapped out, along with most of the rest of the transmission. I've got all the replacement parts, I just need a free afternoon to do the work, and I'm looking forward to having the bike back to its normal smooth ride.
