Paypal/ebay protects the buyer way too much, it's simple and easy to buy something then get your money back leaving the seller out of pocket. It happens a lot with online gaming, virtual items/accounts.
There's no way i'd ever ship anything to Nigeria as an ebay seller though until the money has actually been released, maybe a piece of cardboard with a photo of the card printed on it

Can't believe a fully qualified GP round here got ripped off by the old 'Nigeria scam', you know "We have 'X' amount of money to put in your account, you can have a percentage"
Apparantly ended up losing £94,000.....

Having said all that i am in contact with the king of nigeria as ive just lent him £30k, so i can ask him if he can look into it.
To be honest, hindsight wasn't really required in this situation!
