No commuting for a week

I have started to get man flu so didn't cycle in today and won't tomorrow. Next week I am in London on a course so will be walking rather than cycling

Today was the first use of the car this month and last week was my first week cycling all 5 days, 26 mile round trip

The nice thing I noticed about cycling in the rain yesterday is all the pretty rainbow patterns you get at road junctions!

Just been on holiday so no bike for a week.Had the fun of carting around a two ton suitcase on the tube yesterday during the rush hour.
Shame I didn't get round to hiring ab ike out there but plan to when I go to other places.

Back on the old bike on Sunday.

I got back from Melbourne/ Cairns at the weekend and I was lucky I stayed opposite a well stocked Bike shop, hiring good quality road bikes. When the bloke in the shop only charged me the cheapest rate the second time I hired one, I said I'd give them a plug, Bike Now.
