@RT...yes that guy sounds like a bona fide twat.
I get the impression he wanted to pull out of the deal due to his impatience to wait for you.

Unfortunatly you do get a few tossers.
People just do not bother to read the descrition, ie

The minibus has done 135,000km and has no MOT

Question from Blah Blah regarding item 12345
"hi, can you tell me the mileage, how long is the MOT?

Having said that, I have met, and dealt with some very nice people

Yeah, agree with some comments here about idiots not being able to read.

Most recent items for sale since the birth of our latest (and last!) child are a baby bath and a steam steriliser thingy. Description and photo was placed on eBay and a question was received a couple of days later about the steriliser:

'Would it be possible for me to pick it up if I win the auction?'

It's my own fault I guess, should have made it clearer than 'Can post item or you can collect in person if preferred'.

Nothing against buyers or sellers, but I would NEVER trust EBay to act reasonably, and would NEVER trust them with any personal details.

Can I be any more negative against EBay:biggrin:

I had a guy whocouldn't actually come to collect an item (it was too big to post, a car seat, basically). After a bit, he told me to sell it again, and sent me tenner for my trouble!
