Aldi did the spoke things a few weeks back.. Is that standard 'white' scotchlight tape you've stuck on everywhere ?

Got some of the reflective' black stuff' on my wheels and guards.

Yep, standard white. Is the black stuff a lot more covert during the day but just as reflective at night?

+1 big time to this. Big round abouts I find I am just not seen and had far too many close shaves.

And i've ordered a load of relective tape already, just waiting to fix it.. bling bling!

Don't forget to post a pic when you're done. ;)

as I said on the video, that is truly FANTASTIC

Where can I get some of this tape? I've looked on ebay, and you can get it in different colours? Silly question, but does red tape glow red, or just shine like yours?

I may well have to steal your idea...and take credit for it

Can I get this from most DIY shops (which?)? How much should a roll be...how much do I need?

With the front one, have you attached the tape across the spokes, or just on each one individually?

Excellent effort, but I can't help wonder - could you not have made it spell something when moving ......... 'SMIDSY' maybe?

I used this stuff... http://uk.rs-online.com/web/search/searchBrowseAction.html?method=getProduct&R=0567806

That did 2 bikes with a bit left over.

I think any tape with the "3M Scotchlite" brand name will be the same as mine.

The front one has tape around individual spokes..difficult to see when spinning.

I'd love to take credit for the idea but this has been done before and as said previously, you can get 3M spoke reflectors already made for the job.
