Here's a tip to help the frugal-minded out there...
I usually use my phone for GPS but just tuck it away in my saddle bag and rely on my Cateye to give me the live information that I need. Unfortunately I had the upsetting experience of watching my Cateye being crushed under the wheels of a car after it had shaken itself free of it's mount. So this left me in need of a cycle computer. I have an armband to hold my phone when running which with a little bit of extra wrapping and tying neatly attached my phone to my stem. The case was £3.99 from Sports Direct and much more friendly on my wallet than the £30 phone-specific one I had my eye on. Bargain.
