yes, I set off at after 10 today after some urgent new brake pads and some sundry adjustments

no overshoes, no gillet, no buff, it was scandalous

yes, it was pretty dry here yesterday - though it was just below freezing when I left for work.
It's just below freezing now, and having just looked outside I can see that everything is covered in ice and there is thick fog.

Thick, thick snow and sleet on the way back from work tonight. Stung the face like mad. Had to ride with my specs off because the snow kept settling on the lenses.
